Why do errors occur during Amazon's operations? What do the various error codes prompted by the system mean and how to solve them? In this article, Xingqihang takes stock of the handling methods of some common error codes, which are worthy of collection by novice sellers.
1. Error code 90009
The reason is that the bulk upload template is malformed, such as a missing or invalid file title (the header line is only used by Amazon and cannot be modified or deleted by the seller). The corresponding workaround is to use a new copy after downloading the template, or insert the correct row header directly above the header of the existing file.
2. Error code 8032
This is usually caused by incorrect SKU assignments or incorrectly filling in the Parent SKU field. For example, a child item has been assigned to a parent's SKU, previously uploaded, and assigned to another set of variant products. The corresponding solutions are: 1. Delete the old product relationship first, and then resubmit; 2. Check whether the SKU and Parent SKU fields are correct.
3. Error code 8803
The reason for the error is that the child SKU of the product being sold has the same variant attribute as another child ASIN4$4. The corresponding solutions are: 1. Modify the variant attribute of the sub-SKU; 2. Update the sub-SKU to match the correct ASIN4$4; 3. Assign a new parent SKU to the sub-SKU; 4. Delete the sub-SKU variant theme and delete it at the same time Relationship to child SKU. 4. Error code 8541
The 8541 error is also known as a "single match error". This type of error occurs if our product code corresponds to an existing ASIN product code, but some of the information we submit is different, such as product name, brand, color, size, etc. The corresponding solution is: check and modify the correct product code, and then resubmit.
5. Error code 8801
To repeat the parent-child relationship of a variant product, we need to ensure that in a set of variant products, child products with the same attribute only appear once. The corresponding solution is to delete one of the two sub-SKUs, confirm that there are no duplicate products in the SKU list, and then upload them again.
Due to space reasons, Xingqihang does not list all the error codes one by one, but Xingqihang can tell you the mentality and method to solve such problems. In fact, we understand very well how novice sellers feel when they encounter an error reported by the system, because Xingqihang also stepped on the same pit when it first started to do Amazon. Some very simple tasks, like uploading listings, also take a long time to complete. These are all normal. After all, there are thresholds for being an Amazon. You can grow quickly by practicing more and developing the habit of summarizing.
