With the increasing popularity of portable backup power supplies, various styles of portable backup power supplies have appeared on the market. According to incomplete statistics, many products on the market cannot meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, and even cause various safety problems.
01
Portable Power
So, what kind of portable backup power supply is safe? Of course, products that comply with the relevant laws, regulations and standards of various countries and regions are considered safe products. The earliest standard for portable backup power products comes from the United States. The standard number is UL 2743 STANDARD FOR SAFETY – Portable Power Packs. The first edition was published as early as 2016. It is suitable for built-in batteries and has one or more input and output ports. Various portable power products with car emergency start ignition function, lights, emergency warning lights, voltmeters, built-in air pumps, and other similar functional products, but products within the scope of UL 2056 are not within the scope of this standard.
A safe portable backup power product first depends on the safety of its own key components, especially when designing products and selecting supply chains, if the safety of key components is fully considered, it seems that it will increase product development and production. Cost, in fact, for enterprises that require the production of safe and reliable products, it means avoiding detours, reducing product R&D costs and R&D cycles, and the development costs will naturally be greatly reduced. Take the lead and win the market.
