The sale of phthalates in children's jewelry in Canada shall comply with the following regulations
/2018-82 Children's Jewelry Regulations
The Children's Jewelry Regulations (/2018-82) under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) restrict safety requirements for jewelry worn by children under the age of 15.
Regulatory requirements:
1. Requirements for lead content in children's jewelry: "Total lead limit/kg";
2. The total cadmium limit for children's jewelry items that can fully enter the small parts cylinder when a force not exceeding 4.45 N is applied, is required not to exceed /kg.
