If you list products on the Amazon marketplace, you must comply with all federal, provincial, territorial, and local laws and Amazon policies (including this policy) that apply to those products and listings.

Portable stoves covered by this policy

This policy applies to portable decorative light sources that use alcohol-based fuels to produce hanging flames in open-cup jars. These products generally consist of a pot or base, usually made of ceramic or other heat-resistant material. Also known as portable brazier, portable fireplace, stove, fire bowl, patio stove, flame pot, flame lamp, or table stove.

Amazon's policy for portable stoves

As required by Amazon's policy, all portable stoves shall be tested and meet the requirements of ASTM F3363-19 (Standard Specification for Portable Ventless Appliances for Burning Liquid or Gel Fuels).

Note: The test report must include an image of the product being inspected, and the image should be sufficient to demonstrate that the product being inspected is identical to the product listed on the detail page.

Required information

Amazon may ask you to provide the following information at any time, so it is recommended that you have this information readily available for submission:

● your contact information: email address and telephone number;

● a list of all portable stoves you publish;

● Product and product packaging images of all portable stoves you post (if applicable). Images must include all sides of the product and product packaging for our review;

Product pictures or test reports (if applicable) that demonstrate that the product complies with the warning label requirements (ASTM F3363-19 Section 6.1);

●Commodity pictures or test reports that can prove that the commodity complies with the instructions requirements (ASTM F3363-19 Section 6.1.9);

●A test report issued by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory confirming that each item has been tested and meets the applicable requirements above.

How to submit information?

If you receive a request from us for your compliance documentation, please follow the steps below to submit the required information:

1. In Seller Central, select the Performance tab, then select Account Status.

2. In the lower right corner, under [Manage Your Compliance], click [Product Compliance Request].

3. To add compliance or appeal to a single product, click [Add/Appeal Compliance]. To add compliance or appeals to multiple products, select the product to the left of the product, then click Take Action on Selected Products at the top of the product requirements form to choose how to submit documents and information.

4. Provide compliance documents and information in the [Provide Documents] section, or provide appeal information and documents in the [Appeal Request] section.

5. Click [Submit for Approval] to send your submitted information for Amazon review.

1 Scope

1.1 These requirements apply to the following equipment:

1.1.1 Can fuel and maintain flame in open reservoir surfaces;

1.1.2 The flame can be maintained without the need for additional external ventilation to release combustion exhaust gases;

1.1.3 Burning liquid fuels, gel fuels (such as solid alcohol) or other non-solid fuels in openable reservoirs or disposable, non-refillable fuel containers;

1.1.4 The fuel capacity does not exceed 2.5 liters (0.67 gallons);

1.1.5 The output power is 1.47 kW (5000/h) or less;

1.1.6 Easy to carry or move manually;

1.1.7 Applies to indoors, outdoors, or both.

1.2 These requirements do not apply to the following devices:

1.2.1 Candles;

1.2.2 For cooking or heating food;

1.2.3 Combustion of solid fuels, as determined by the test method described in Test Method D4359; or

1.2.4 Oil lamps that do not have open reservoirs such as refillable oil lamps, outdoor garden lamps/table lamps that use wicks for fuel (see Appendix X1).

1.3 This specification establishes minimum safety requirements for equipment to help ensure a reasonable level of safety for normal use, thereby increasing personal safety and reducing fire, death and injury.

1.4 This specification is not intended to replace other safety measures such as adult supervision, close monitoring of the product during use, and fire detection, alarm or fire suppression systems.

1.5 Values ​​expressed in SI units are to be regarded as standard values. Values ​​in parentheses are explanatory or approximate information.
