Children's products are consumer products that are designed, marketed, or intended for use by children 12 years of age or younger. Federal law in the United States requires that all children's products subject to one or more federal consumer product safety requirements be tested by a CPSC-accepted laboratory to ensure compliance with applicable federal children's product safety requirements. These requirements include, but are not limited to, physical and mechanical testing, chemical testing, labeling of merchandise and merchandise packaging, and warning and hazard labeling.
Documentation requirements
1. Our policy requires sellers and suppliers selling CPSC-regulated products to have documentation that demonstrates compliance with all applicable mandatory and voluntary standards and regulations.
2. The test report provided as part of your compliance documents submitted to Amazon must come from an independent third-party testing laboratory. For children's products, federal law in the United States requires testing to be performed by a testing laboratory accredited by the CPSC to perform testing within the scope of applicable testing. For generic non-children's products, Amazon's policy requires that testing be performed by an ISO or IEC17025 accredited testing laboratory capable of performing testing within the applicable testing scope.
3. Our policy requires sellers and suppliers to submit test reports issued by corresponding testing laboratories to meet our compliance requirements. At the same time, they should also provide compliance certificates required by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission regulations, details are as follows.
For children's products, the CPSC publishes a list of CPSC-accredited testing laboratories . For generic non-children's products, testing does not need to be performed by a CPSC-accredited laboratory, but per our policy, testing must be performed by an ISO or IEC17025-accredited testing laboratory.

Package
1. Federal law in the United States requires certain household substances to be packaged in child-resistant packaging. Packaging required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) must be designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under the age of five to open within a reasonable period of time and not difficult for a normal adult to properly use.
2. Amazon's policy requires that products regulated by the Anti-Poison Packaging Act must be tested by ISO or IEC17025-accredited testing laboratories that can conduct appropriate testing in accordance with Part 1700 of Title 16 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Labeling Guidelines
Certain products regulated by the CPSC must meet certain labeling requirements. These requirements vary by product type.
1. Tracking labels : All children's products must have legible permanent marks (called "tracking labels") that are permanently affixed to the product and product packaging in legible writing and must provide certain identifying information. For more information, see Tracking Label Requirements for Children's Products .
2. Mandatory warning and registration card for durable baby products : Durable baby and toddler products need to provide additional product and packaging labels and consumer registration cards .
3. Warning labels and instructions : Many consumer products require specific hazard labels to inform consumers of the possible dangers that may arise when the product is misused. For example, under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), toys or games intended for children ages three to six must include a warning statement warning buyers of a possible choking hazard. Additional warning labels may contain precautionary language, including but not limited to instructions on how to properly use the product and to avoid specific hazardous conditions (for example, electrical products used near water), or to state what the product is and is not suitable for . These specific hazard warning requirements can be found in the product's applicable safety standard or regulation. Some regulations of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission also require that, in addition to labeling the product and the outer packaging, the relevant warning statement must appear in the product description.
