Bhupen Wakankar, Global Trade Director, Amazon India, said that through the new logistics solution, Indian exporters will be able to promote Made in India products to customers around the world, including households, during this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM) promotions. and kitchen, STEM toys, apparel, health and personal care, office products, jewelry, beauty and furniture.
According to the report, "Send" allows exporters to obtain end-to-end hassle-free logistics and transportation services at a lower price. With "Send," sellers enrolled in Amazon's global selling program can now ship air packages from India to Amazon's fulfillment centers in the United States. The retail giant is expected to add more destinations soon.
Amazon has also slashed subscription fees for new exporters joining its global selling program for the first three months, in an effort to attract more sellers to its platform, especially small businesses, ahead of the holiday season.
The subscription fee for exporters new to the global selling program will be reduced from $120 to $1 for the first three months, the company said. This offer is only available from November 7, 2022 to May 6, 2023.
It can be seen that the retail giant is focusing on driving seller growth and seller service plans. It is understood that Amazon’s goal is to help Indian sellers achieve US$20 billion in exports by 2025.
