eBay US seller refunds will not be included in sales commissions

In eBay's Winter 2022 Seller Update, eBay announced that it will be adjusting seller fees to support sellers in doing the right thing for buyers. Beginning May 23 , 2022 , when sellers issue partial refunds to buyers, eBay will automatically pro-rate the seller's final value fee based on the adjusted gross sales. Additionally, eBay will automatically pro-rate a portion of the promoted item standard and international fees for global sellers. Other fees, such as the $ 0.30 per order fee, the PromotedListingsExpress fee, and the PromotedListingsAdvanced fee, will not be refunded. Points will appear in sellers' accounts starting May 23 .

eBay Canada will impose ' sales tax ' on all sellers

Recently, eBay Canada sent an email to users saying that from July 1 , 2022 , Canadian sellers will have to collect " sales tax " on goods sold to Canadian addresses.
