Amazon's layoffs have not yet passed, and many sellers are still eating melons, but they accidentally "produce melons " and eat them on their own heads. Today, Amazon issued a blockbuster rule, saying that it has launched an account health protection plan for seller account security issues. Does this mean that the legend of the title has since disappeared in the Amazon arena? Let's listen to Xiao Jiejie's eloquence!
What is the Account Protection Program Policy?
Amazon's US station announced that it will launch an account status protection plan. This program is a new benefit for sellers who consistently maintain a high Account Health Rating. Once enrolled, the account will not be deactivated as long as the seller works with Amazon to resolve any issues. And this participation is also time-sensitive, it needs to be resolved within 72 hours, and the seller needs to keep the phone open to be effective. Amazon wrote in the announcement: "We understand that sellers have always wanted to be able to more intuitively understand the security issues of their accounts and the risk level of account deactivation, so we recently launched the account security rating function, which can show the seller account. The risk of deactivation. Now coupled with the seller account protection plan, sellers with stable security ratings don’t have to worry about account closure.”
Which sellers can participate in this program?
Can all sellers participate in this program? no. The barriers to entry for this program are quite high. As long as you meet Amazon's relevant conditions, you will automatically join this program.
The Account Health Protection Program is currently only available to Professional Sellers in the US and Canada. It will be extended to other sites in the future.
Professional sellers in these two marketplaces need to maintain an account status score of no less than 250 for at least 6 months, and the number of days below 250 cannot exceed 10 days.
A valid emergency contact number must be set in the system.
That is to say, this plan cannot currently cover all sellers, and the risk of title closure cannot be completely eliminated. Recalling the blockage of many big Chinese stores last year, many sellers still have lingering fears.
How can we really ensure account security?
Keeping your account safe is not without rules. Since Amazon launched the account security rating function, we can use the relevant scores to judge the security of the account. The benchmark score is 200 points. The score range is 0-1000. The higher the score, the better. Sellers who meet the above conditions and join the account protection plan can be said to be double insurance. If the score is lower than 200, the account is at risk of being blocked, and if the score is lower than 99, it will directly reach the level of account suspension. Therefore, sellers should pay attention to their account rating regularly. If you need to obtain and maintain a "healthy" account status, it is recommended that seller friends do not violate Amazon's policies; if you accidentally violate the policy, you must promptly deal with all violations listed on the "Account Status" page, with the highest priority. The violation of the rules can prevent the possibility of title ban in time. Of course, Amazon’s red line cannot be crossed. Once the red line is touched, it is enough for the store to directly game over.
