To be honest, this threshold is very low. It will not reach $10,000 this month, and it will always reach $10,000 next month. According to Amazon’s policy requirements, sellers must purchase insurance. Therefore, insurance matters should be arranged as soon as possible.
The commercial insurance that Amazon requires sellers to insure must meet the following conditions:
①The total insured limit for each accident is at least 1 million US dollars, covering the seller's business operation or other related liabilities, such as the buyer's personal injury caused by the product, etc.;
②The subject of insurance must cover all products sold through the website.
③The policy must designate Amazon and its assignee as other insured.
④The name of the policy holder must match the name of the seller's corporate entity.
⑤ The policy must have a validity period of more than 90 days from the date of submission for verification.
Amazon Insurance Requirements Policy Interpretation
1: As long as your sales exceed $10,000 in any month after September 1, the seller must purchase insurance.
2: If your account does not reach 10,000 US dollars, or even only a few orders a month, but if Amazon has sent an email notification to purchase insurance, the seller must also purchase insurance in this case (buy insurance within 30 days).
3: It is very important that the name of the legal entity is consistent, that is, the column of Legal business name in the background is the beneficiary of the insurance.
4: It is recommended to fill in the address for purchasing insurance that is consistent with the legal entity. Some sellers’ legal entity addresses (the company’s establishment address) are inconsistent with the Amazon store front desk Business Address.
5: For the store address in Australia or other countries (not the United States and China), the address information can be filled in the address of the overseas warehouse in the United States (it does not need to be the same as the Business Address), but the legal business name for purchasing insurance must be the same.
Amazon Insurance Purchase Path
The first channel is an insurance provider “officially recommended” by Amazon. (Only the "no deductible" plan)

Personal stores cannot purchase insurance directly through Amazon's background. In this case, sellers can only purchase insurance through regular service providers.
The second channel is to purchase from offline formal service providers.
A small number of sellers may have problems with the main account, such as registering an account early at that time, submitting personal identity information for registration, or foreign friends helping to register, or even spending money to buy an account from a service provider, etc.
Since the company information cannot be submitted, it cannot be purchased directly from the back-end insurance provider. It is recommended to consult a service provider to purchase.
