For sellers who do cross-border e-commerce, the logistics experience of buyers is a very important part of the evaluation of stores and products.
Therefore, many Amazon sellers choose to use Amazon FBA to simplify the fulfillment of orders, and Amazon helps sellers with services such as order sorting, packaging and delivery. In addition, using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) can help sellers reach a large number of premium Prime members around the world, speed up delivery, improve user experience, and increase product exposure and sales.
Before sending the goods to the Amazon fulfillment center, the seller needs to create a shipment in Seller Central, and "Send to Amazon" (Send to Amazon, or STA) is the new operation process for creating a shipment in Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA).
It is reported that Amazon announced in June on the US station, European station and Japan station that it will officially stop the existing “send/replenishment” process from September 1, and enable a new process “Send to Amazon”.

From the announcement date, when sellers create new shipments, the system will direct the process to "Send to Amazon" by default, and sellers can also access "Send to Amazon" from the delivery queue by themselves.
Compared to the old shipping system, the new "Send to Amazon" process for creating shipments brings these new features to sellers:
●Reusable original packaging templates can be created, which can be used directly in subsequent dispatch/replenishment, saving the time of creating shipments;
●The template of the box configuration can save time in the delivery and replenishment process of packaging SKUs with the same specifications;
●After all the processes are completed, the shipment number will be officially created, and the shipping destination FBA warehouse will be automatically assigned;
●If the seller is packing the product, the quantity is wrong, it can be corrected before completing the creation. If the quantity is not large, most sellers will send it directly to the FBA warehouse and correct the quantity when listing;
●Single-SKU boxes and mixed-SKU boxes can be added to the same workflow, first-pack single-SKU and mixed-SKU boxes, then create a shipment, update the quantity when packing, and then confirm the shipping destination of the shipment.

Sellers can continue to use the old workflow to create new shipments until August 31, but after September 1, "Send to Amazon" will be the only process for creating shipments.
It is worth noting that all shipments created by the old "ship/replenishment" process are also time-sensitive. The deadline given by Amazon is November 30, and the shipment plan that has been created before this day is still valid. Can be edited and processed.
Due to the issue of delivery restrictions, many sellers are now used to creating many plans in advance not to deliver goods until they need to be replenished.

After November 30, Amazon estimates that all shipment plans created with the old process will be closed in a unified manner, and the seller's backup plan may be in vain. It is recommended that sellers who have the habit of building plans in advance can use the new version of "Send to" again. Amazon" process to create a shipping plan to avoid cancellation of shipments by Amazon after the deadline.
