On June 23, Amazon US announced that from September 1, 2022, Send to Amazon will replace the “ship/replenishment” workflow in all Amazon stores.
Amazon's announcement is as follows:
"
As of September 1, 2022, Send to Amazon will replace the "ship/replenish" workflow in all Amazon marketplaces as part of Amazon's ongoing efforts to make shipping creation simpler and more flexible.
"
Sellers must pay attention to:
August 31st is the last day sellers can create shipments using the Ship/Replenish workflow.
As of September 1st, the old workflow will no longer be available. All new FBA shipments must be created in Send to Amazon, or created using the Amazon Marketplace Web Service API or the Selling Partner API.
Thousands of FBA sellers are already using Send to Amazon, Amazon's simplified shipment creation workflow. The updated workflow allows sellers to:
Create a delivery plan with simple steps and training videos.
Reusable manufacturer packaging templates can be created to store product information, packaging and labeling details in shipping boxes and use the same configuration for individual SKU shipping boxes.
Using this template, sellers don't need to re-enter details each time they restock their inventory.
Single SKU shipping boxes and mixed SKU shipping boxes can be added to the same delivery plan.
It can be packaged in advance or as soon as it is ready to ship.
Starting today , when sellers create a shipment from Manage Inventory, Manage FBA Inventory, or Replenishment, you will be automatically directed to Send to Amazon. You can also access Send to Amazon from the shipping queue. Additionally, you can continue to use the old workflow to create new shipments until August 31st.
