Amazon US will increase Multi-Channel Fulfillment fees
US stations will adjust Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) fees starting May 9, 2022.
MCF can be simply understood as the Amazon warehouse helps sellers deliver goods to other sales platforms. With Multi-Channel Fulfillment, sellers can use inventory stored in Amazon fulfillment centers to fulfill orders from sales channels other than Amazon.
The MCF fee is relatively high, but the delivery time is short, which is faster than self-delivery and also facilitates sellers to manage orders on multiple platforms. Judging from the data released by Amazon, the larger the size, the greater the increase . Small standard-size products only increased by 1.13%, and large standard-size products may increase by more than 10%.
0 2 FBM sellers' new compliance policy
Amazon's US station announced that it will implement a home-based compliance enforcement policy from May 15, and self-delivery sellers cannot deliver packages into buyers' homes, otherwise it is a violation of Amazon's policy.
Some self-delivery packages must only be delivered to the buyer's porch, driveway or garage, etc., and cannot enter the buyer's home for delivery. FBM sellers are not allowed to ship products directly to a buyer's home unless the seller is enrolled in the Amazon ShopLocal program or has Amazon fulfill the package.
Amazon's ShopLocal is an invitation-only program that allows sellers to ship eligible items in their city, state, or state, not the nationwide shipping required for all other items, and doesn't allow customizations beyond the seller's "Configuration Settings" the defined area.
Currently, Amazon is expanding ShopLocal’s invitations.
