Wuhan Star Set sail: Amazon's new logistics service will realize automatic replenishment and cost savings
Wuhan Xingqihang learned that on September 1, Amazon officially issued a press release announcing that the official plan to launch a new fulfillment solution, Amazon Warehousing and Delivery (AWD), enables sellers to use new, purpose-built logistics facilities for bulk shipments. Merchandise storage and automated delivery.
Amazon revealed that AWD will help address key supply chain challenges and help sellers better grow and manage their businesses while slashing costs.
In recent years, global inventory storage and distribution have faced significant challenges due to supply chain constraints. For many sellers, the experience and monetary costs required to manage logistics and operations such as inventory storage, fulfillment and order fulfillment are increasing.
AWD offers a simple pay-as-you-go service that relieves sellers of the time-consuming, tedious process of moving inventory from upstream facilities to Amazon fulfillment centers.
Xingqihang understands that sellers can use this service to integrate their upstream inventory storage operations with Amazon's fulfillment network, ensuring they always have the right amount of inventory at the right time, at the right place, and greatly reducing storage costs.
Harris Chan, senior business manager at AmaMax, said: “As an Amazon seller for over 10 years, we are super excited about Amazon warehousing and fulfillment services because it’s something sellers have been craving for a long time, and automatic replenishment and master box handling are part of the program. The essential."
Sellers using AWD can also consolidate their global inventory, which they can then view and manage in Seller Central, simplifying their inventory management with one inventory pool. By 2023, sellers will be able to use AWD to send their inventory anywhere, including wholesale customers or brick-and-mortar stores.
Amazon said it will share a slew of new services at its annual Amazon Accelerate conference on Sept. 14-15, which will also include a more in-depth and comprehensive look at AWD.
