Amazon does not set its own labeling requirements for food contact materials , but they require that all products sold on their platform meet labelling and other compliance requirements for each country.
Certain types of food contact materials, such as kitchen utensils and tools, must carry the glass and fork symbol shown above. In the less obvious cases, this label is mainly used to remind the end consumer that the product contains materials that come into direct contact with food.
Therefore, this symbol is not required if you are manufacturing or importing " food contact materials " used in everyday life , such as cutlery, drinking glasses and general kitchen utensils.
