Recently, the editor learned that since April 18 , after Amazon FBA increased the 5% surcharge, there has been a 0 yuan purchase event. In the past few days, the Amazon circle seems to be calm , but in fact, undercurrents are surging. Just recently, the Amazon platform added a new feature: shipment performance. Once this feature is added, how many small sellers will suffer heavy losses?
Let me introduce to you :
A few days ago, Amazon's US and European stations both issued announcements saying: Amazon has launched a shipment performance dashboard.
The seller can also see it in the background, and the background has updated this function: the shipment performance control panel.
So what's the new feature – Shipment Performance Dashboard?
Shipment performance is assessed on FBA shipments over the past 120 days .
The purpose is to help sellers manage shipments more efficiently and avoid shipment issues such as labeling and prep errors, quantity discrepancies and security issues.
Amazon veterans know that Amazon has always had performance metrics, including order defect rates, cancellation rates, late delivery rates, and more. These indicators are set for third-party sellers. If the indicators do not meet the standards, the seller's store will be restricted from selling, and in severe cases, the account will be blocked. However, this new feature is also limiting many sellers .
As can be seen from the above figure, the content of performance appraisal mainly includes the following five aspects:
1. Incorrect label – product related, the allowable rate is 0.65 %
2. The label is missing – related to the product, the allowable rate is 0.69%
3. The quantity of goods in the box is inaccurate, and the allowable rate is 2.48%
4. Other labeling issues – product related , the allowable rate is 1.37%
5. The goods in the box are not in line with expectations, and the allowable rate is 1.22%
How to better manage Amazon inventory and effectively improve performance indicators
Sellers can calculate the ideal inventory according to the actual sales of their products , thereby optimizing inventory costs, improving the coordination efficiency of the supply chain, avoiding the risk of out-of-stock and redundancy, and effectively improving performance indicators.
Finally, I want to say
Amazon has more and more restrictions. After working in Amazon for a long time, my personal ability to withstand pressure has become much stronger. In this regard, the editor here advises all sellers to standardize shipment standards and operate compliantly, and do not exploit Amazon's loopholes, otherwise it is only a matter of time whether you will receive a warning letter from Amazon. At the same time, you must always pay attention to Amazon's background performance and various notifications to avoid restrictions on your FBA shipments and avoid all possible risks. Although it is just the beginning, sellers still need to be vigilant and control their shipment performance.
