01/Step 1

Go to "Extended Producer Responsibility Requirements – German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive" on Seller Central ( /ecu?m?u?=n?cGY97WLQDLFH2SNBY ) help pages to view the Compliance Portal links for each device type.

02/Step 2

Open each link to see which brands require a WEEE-Reg.-Nr number for each specific equipment type.

03/step three

When you open the first link in the previous step, enter the WEEE-Reg.-Nr number corresponding to the brand (your own registration number or that of your upstream supplier). Please note that you only need to fill in 8 digits when filling in, you do not need to add DE before the number.

04/step four

If you are a distributor using an upstream supplier's WEEE-Reg.-Nr number, please tick the option "I received this electrical and electronic equipment scrap registration number from my supply chain producer". If you are submitting your own registered number, please do not check the "I received this electrical and electronic equipment scrap registration number from my supply chain producer" option.

05/step five

Click "Submit".

06/step six

Repeat steps 3-5 for all brands of this device type that you sell on Amazon Germany, and check that each page has been submitted (up to 5 records per page).

07/Step Seven

Repeat steps 1-6 for all types of equipment requiring WEEE-Reg.-Nr.

When you complete the above steps, Amazon will verify each WEEE-Reg.-Nr number you submit. You can view the verification results on the compliance portal within a few days of submission.
