How to deal with video verification triggered by Amazon Brand Registry? Let's take a look at what's going on?

Brand Registry received an email from Amazon requesting:

1. Are you the trademark owner of the brand? (answer with yes/no);

If yes, please attach a scanned copy of TM receipt with registration number and brand image (required).

If no, please attach a scanned PDF of the power of attorney confirming that you have the right to register XXX in the Brand Registry, and a scanned copy of the TM receipt (mandatory).

2. Are you the manufacturer of your brand? (use yes/no answers ) ;

If yes, please attach a scanned copy of the manufacturing certificate (optional).

If no, please attach a scanned copy of the manufacturing agreement with the manufacturer and a copy of the manufacturer's invoice (mandatory ).

3. Do you have a branded website? ( answer with yes/no );

If yes, please share the link to the website ( required ).

4. Do you already sell any other brands on Amazon? ( use yes/no answers ) ;

If yes, please share the Amazon Storefront link (mandatory ).

5. Do you sell the brand’s products on other websites/e-commerce sites other than the brand’s website? ( use yes/no answers ) ;

If yes, please share the link to the website ( required ) .

6. The name of each product in your brand line, if you sell 5 or more products in your line, you can name any 5 products. (mandatory ).

Solution:

Q1. If you choose Yes, you need to provide a trademark certificate or TM mark acceptance receipt, and a photo of the trademark holder holding the certificate;

If you choose No, you need to provide the trademark certificate or TM mark acceptance receipt, the brand authorization letter, the photo of the trademark holder holding the ID card , and the photo of the authorizer holding the ID card;

Q2. If you choose No, you need to provide the supplier invoice contract;

Q3, Q4, Q5 choose Yes, then provide the link;

Q6. There are 5 subcategories included in trademark registration. (If video verification is triggered, it is best to fill in the available products)

After following the above reply, if the post-verification video request is triggered:

1. We ask you to show your ID during the video verification process to help us verify brand/trademark ownership. (Build your association with the brand.);

2. You must carry at least 50 units of each product;
