1. Low-price discounts on the site

This is the preferred method for Amazon sellers to clear inventory, mainly including the following channels:

Coupon : Clear the inventory by setting coupons, and coupon has a special traffic entrance, and the traffic is relatively large ;

Promotion : You can set the way to buy a gift, or buy two to reduce the discount.

This method is relatively straightforward, but it is not 100% effective, because some commodities are not sold because of high prices, but may also be due to factors such as product quality and buyer demand.

2. Multi-platform distribution

We often say don't put your eggs in one basket, the purpose is to avoid risk. The same is true for cross-border e-commerce, multi-platform layout and multi-platform distribution. Once there is a large backlog of inventory on Amazon’s side, sellers can clear the goods through the more mainstream local e-commerce platforms. This method is feasible, but sellers must do what they can, because multi-platform operation means that more manpower and energy need to be invested, and seller friends choose according to their actual situation.

3. Off- site promotion

There are many channels for off-site promotion to clear inventory, such as popular short video platforms, cooperating with Internet celebrities to post promotions, and promotions on discount websites. Buyers accumulated through these channels are basically price-sensitive and hope to buy high-quality and inexpensive products. Therefore, as long as the price is attractive enough, sales are not a problem.

The main reason for the backlog of unsalable products is still closely related to our own product selection, market analysis, and replenishment strategies.
