Amazon has no orders in the background for nearly four hours.
A piece of news this morning caught the attention of Amazon sellers. Many sellers reported that they had no orders in their backend for nearly four hours. I don’t know if it was a data delay or Amazon had another bug.
Some sellers thought it was just their own background at first, but then there were more and more similar feedbacks.
A: The order this morning was abnormal. Is it just me?
B: Are your orders still normal? Why hasn't my order been updated for more than 3 hours.
C: The European station is normal. It seems that the US station has not been updated for a few hours. Came here in the morning to see that the sales had stopped 2 hours ago.
D: Not normal, not normal, maybe the system is delayed!
After discovering this situation, some sellers immediately contacted their counterparts to inquire about the situation, and everyone's responses were basically the same. Judging from the feedback from sellers this morning, the "no change in order" situation this time is mainly on Amazon's US station, and the duration varies from 2 hours to 4 hours.
Some sellers said: "I thought it was just me, scared to death, but this time it's been too long." Some sellers found that their Amazon backend had actually been stuck since last night, but the seller at that time I didn't care too much, after all, there were too many similar situations, so it's not surprising. However, a few sellers said their order data was normal and was not affected.
After the incident, many sellers immediately contacted the relevant service providers, and the reply was that due to the failure of Amazon's North American station, the background could not update the order, and the interface could not obtain the order data. Except for the North American site, other sites are currently normal. They are contacting Amazon officials to learn more about the situation .
Some sellers contacted Amazon's sales support directly to ask when they can return to normal. The customer service staff it docked with said that they received feedback from the seller that it was due to a problem with the system and is currently working on fixing it, which should be soon.
Although this is not the first time that a bug has appeared in Amazon's backstage, the various episodes of "unprepared" really frighten sellers a lot. Previously, due to problems with Amazon's back-end system, seller links could not be displayed, and products were banned. In this regard, some sellers joked: "Amazon system upgrades, downtime, and occasionally take a break."
However, for this long-term system problem, some sellers speculate that every time Amazon does this, it is adjusting something, and they don’t know what it is doing this time.
