2022 is about to pass, and Amazon officials will continue to invest a lot of money in personnel, technology, transportation, etc., to market a good business environment for cross-border sellers. Optimize cost management for sellers, and provide high-value, high-quality services for sellers and consumers. Amazon will update the following:
1. Adjust the commission and logistics costs of the Amazon US site. The content of this update will be implemented on January 17, 2023. Amazon’s fees for referral fees will remain the same, and fees will be eliminated for products such as coin collectibles, entertainment collectibles, sports collectibles, and collectible cards. Affected ASINs will be reclassified into appropriate product categories for sale.
2. Amazon's logistics and distribution fees will change. Amazon added fuel and inflation surcharges earlier this year. At that time, these costs were considered temporary, but these cost increases did not abate quickly. Therefore, in response to rising costs, Amazon will adjust Amazon logistics fees.
3. Amazon will cancel the subsequent and inflation surcharges, and at the same time increase Amazon logistics delivery fees. It is reported that Amazon will increase the product by an average of US$0.22, which is much lower than the cost announced by other logistics providers. At the same time, Amazon will add logistics and distribution costs to a more refined weight breakdown and provide more refined charging standards.
4. Amazon will also reduce the processing fee for returns and adjust the delivery weight standard at the same time. Inventory fees will also further refine the charging items, which will help Amazon create more effective storage capacity for sellers. Sellers with high levels of inventory stored in Amazon fulfillment centers relative to their most recent weekly sales price increase will be charged a storage utilization surcharge.
