What is cosmetic CPSR certification?

Introduction of CPSR certification: CPSR certification is a cosmetic regulation of the European Union. After the official implementation on July 11, 2013, all cosmetic products entering the EU market must provide a product safety report before they can be marketed.

The EU's first cosmetic regulation, Regulation(EC)/2009, was officially implemented on July 11, 2013. Compared with the previous cosmetic directive, Directive 76/768 EEC, it has put forward more stringent requirements for the safety of cosmetics, which clearly states It is stipulated that products must complete a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) before they can be marketed in the European Economic Area. It can be said that CPSR certification is a compulsory EU certification for cosmetics, and cosmetics exported to EU countries need to be CPSR certified!

This new cosmetic requirement is published in the form of an EU regulation, implemented as national law in the 27 EU member states (as well as Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), unlike EU directives that need to be converted before domestic enforcement. Regulation (EC) No/2009 will replace the old Cosmetics Directive/EEC and its 67 amendments to date.

The CPSR report is a comprehensive safety audit and evaluation report based on the product ingredient formula and combined with the product-related test report. The CPSR cosmetic safety report consists of two parts, cosmetic safety information and cosmetic safety assessment.

What does the cosmetic CPSR certification include?

The cosmetic CPSR certification safety report consists of two parts, namely cosmetic safety information and cosmetic safety assessment. Materials Required for CPSR

How long does it take to complete the CPSR?
