Amazon Prime Day countdown
How are you getting ready?
For every Amazon seller, "prime day" is not only a lively e-commerce feast, but also an intense mid-year exam.
As the saying goes, before the troops and horses move the food and grass, the sellers can be prepared for all inspections. Take a seat in this big test game and come to a salted fish to turn over!
Next, we will sort out 9 things to pay attention to before the peak season:
#1
Beware of phishing emails!
Anti-fishing tips to master
Every year before Amazon Prime Day, phishing emails make Amazon sellers hard to guard against.
Most of these phishing emails induce sellers to click on links in the name of "account security, censorship, and funds", which may lead to the leakage of sellers' private information.
The following two anti-fishing tips should be mastered:
Remember not to click the link
If you need to provide personal information, please contact Amazon customer service in advance to confirm the real situation of the email and account before proceeding to the next step.
If you accidentally click the link and submit private information, please deal with it immediately
1. Check whether account information, receiving account, listing, etc. have been modified
2. Check whether the background mail is abnormal and whether there is any fraudulent information sent to the buyer
3. Prepare all kinds of evidence to prove that the account is your own
4. Find Amazon for complaints and feedback, and contact the Amazon team for processing
#2
Always be vigilant of these 7 items!
If you are not careful, your promotion will be cancelled
1. Promotional price
Price does not meet Amazon's suggested maximum sale price requirement
2. Insufficient quantity
Inventory activity quantity does not meet the minimum quantity per ASIN run
3. The main image is not compliant
If any image in the promotion contains text or does not follow style guide requirements
4. Qualified inventory
Available inventory is lower than the promotional commitment and does not meet the minimum projected product sales
5. Because a sub-ASIN is not compliant
will render the entire promotion non-compliant unless the sub-ASIN is removed from the promotion
6. Insufficient sub-ASINs included in the promotion
Unable to achieve minimum sub-ASIN coverage
7. Insufficient inventory
Not having enough stock can also cause your promotion to be suppressed, you need to make sure the stock level matches or exceeds the quantity you set
#3
keep in mind!
Do not make changes to promotions that have already been set up
don't adjust prices
Any changes in the prices of participating ASINs after submitting a Deal or Prime Exclusive may affect their promotional maximum pricing requirements.
If the price is changed within 24 hours before the launch of the Lightning Deal, the Deal event and Prime exclusive discount will be suppressed.
Do not create new child ASINs
For ASINs that contain sub-variants, avoid creating or assigning new sub-ASINs for that variant.
Doing so will cause existing deals to be re-reviewed for new sub-ASINs, which may result in the promotion being suppressed or cancelled.
#4
Comprehensive inspection!
Your account and brand safety
Check the account status rating to determine whether the account status is at risk of deactivation, and ensure that you check the performance notification content every day before Amazon Prime Day to ensure account security.
In addition to the account number, we must always be vigilant about infringement, which consists of two parts:
Whether there is a risk of infringing the intellectual property rights of others
Including trademark infringement, copyright infringement, patent infringement.
Sellers of categories such as bikinis, dolls, Apple peripherals, headphones, data cables, Lego toys, masks, etc., should pay special attention during the peak season, and must do a 360° self-inspection of whether their products and listings have violated infringement.
Check if someone else has violated your intellectual property
#5
Don't get caught up in "sensitive words"
Cause the listing to become a dog
On Amazon's prime day, the most feared thing is that the hard-working listing will turn into a dog because of sensitive words.
Therefore, before the peak season, sellers should conduct self-inspection on the title, five-point description, long description, search term and other modules of the listing to see if they contain sensitive words.
Here are some sensitive words that are recommended for collection:
1. Words used to "prevent, eradicate, repel or slow down" any pest, or make any words "anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial or insecticide".
2. Ultraviolet rays, dust removal, sound generators, water or air handling devices, ground vibrators, and any words related to protection against insects.
3. Products containing any antifungal, antibacterial or other insecticides, including products marketed for disinfection, repelling pests, allergens, and preventing bacteria.
4. Terms related to the safety of pesticides or other ingredients such as "safe", "harmless", "non-toxic" or "pure natural", including high-quality PVC, healthy, environmentally friendly, non-slip, heat-resistant, easy to clean, resistant to Grinding, preservatives, etc. (suspected sensitive words).
Sensitive words that are easy to be killed by mistake also include the following:
Anti-Mites (Anti-Insect Mites)
Inhibit-Algae
Anti-Bacteria (sterilization)
/Mildew(anti-mold/anti-bacteria)
/Fungus (sterilization)
Repel-Pesticides
Anti-fouling (decontamination)
Antifungal
Sanitize-Blight (Antivirus)
Sterilize (sterilize)

#7
See tricks and tricks!
Take measures to deal with vicious competition in advance
Every time before the Amazon Prime Day peak season, it is often the peak stage of frequent vicious competition sellers.
Whether it is dealing with malicious hoaxing, bad reviews, listing changes, or category changes , Amazon sellers must have solutions to ensure normal sales during the peak season.
#8
Be wary of going over budget
Don't miss this action
If the bid for a keyword is higher than the campaign budget, the campaign will not run.
So sellers can monitor your advertising spend through the campaign management page before Amazon's prime day peak season.
#9
Notice! Too low ACOS
It may also be a signal of no traffic and no sales.
Before the peak season, some Amazon sellers thought that they had burned a lot of money in advertising, resulting in high ACOS and losses, so they directly cut advertising costs to reduce advertising.
However, due to the reduction of advertising, not only the advertising traffic will be greatly reduced, but the natural traffic will also be affected, and the overall ranking will drop. Although the advertising costs have been controlled, the products cannot be exposed, which ultimately leads to low sales.
Therefore, Amazon sellers should check whether the product is profitable or not is the ultimate standard to test ACOS! If the product is not profitable, no matter how low the ACOS is, it must be optimized immediately.
