For accounts registered with Chinese data, the invoices that need to be provided to Amazon are special VAT invoices or ordinary VAT invoices. (Note: If the invoice is issued on behalf of the supplier, the supplier information must be noted: supplier name, taxpayer identification number, address and telephone number, supplier bank and account number). When encountering Amazon's invoice review, it is best for sellers to negotiate the above information with the supplier in advance, because Amazon may call the supplier to confirm the situation and ensure that there is no change or forgery.
Amazon has certain audit requirements for the audit of invoices, and Xingqihang has summarized some Amazon audit requirements based on past experience.
1. The date is set within 180 days of the invoice date;
2. The invoice should include your name and address;
3. The name or address of the manufacturer or distributor should be included in the invoice;
4. A combined order containing at least 10 items of the requested product needs to be displayed in the invoice, and at the same time, it needs to be as close to the back-end inventory as possible;
5. Omit pricing information. If the seller submits an invoice for mainland China, the editor recommends that you do not block any pricing information on the invoice;
6. The Amazon platform may contact the product supplier indicated in your application to verify the authenticity of the documents you submit.
According to Amazon's previous requirements, Amazon generally accepts invoices within the past 365 days, but in some cases, Amazon will require the submission of invoices within the past 180 days or 90 days. Therefore, it is best for sellers to issue invoices every 3 months or half a year.
For products with good sales and fast delivery, invoices can be issued several times in small quantities; for products with average sales, one can be issued on a regular basis (the required quantity can cover sales and inventory). For products that are co-sold and plan to become popular, it is recommended to issue invoices at the beginning of the shelves. It is recommended that sellers provide formal invoices to Amazon, and try not to issue invoices on their behalf.
