But let's check if this theory is correct. We used the Keyword Tool to check out some of the best-selling hoodies on Amazon. By looking at the historical BSRs of different listings , we noticed a trend. Most products are active during the winter months, but their BSRs increase as May approaches. Then stay high in the summer. What does it mean? During this period, sales of products related to thermal clothing decreased.

Of course, summer-related designs also have color details. Most sellers who create summer items focus on bright colors like yellow, green, pink, and purple. As with most other t-shirt designs, the base color is usually darker (black or navy). This allows bright colors to pop and grab attention in an instant.
For example, one of the bestsellers found in our research on top performers using the keyword "summer" was "Hello Summer Vacation Ice Cream Popsicle Ice Lolly T-Shirt." This t-shirt design uses six different colors – pink, red, orange, yellow, blue and green. Its base color is black. Overall, it creates a warm and playful feel.

For example, on June 30, 2021, the top 21 best-selling listings for that day included the American flag and were centered on July 4. This is a clear sign that getting your designs ready for sale in advance is crucial if you want to take advantage of such an opportunity.
