#01 How Amazon’s Affiliate Marketing Program Works
Amazon Affiliates Program, also known as "Amazon Associates" Amazon Affiliate Marketing Program: Affiliate Marketing refers to individuals earning a percentage commission by promoting your Listing
Operation:
1. The seller has a listing on Amazon
2. Any member of the Amazon Associates program can create their own affiliate link for seller listings
3. Amazon employees will promote affiliate links of Amazon Associates members on their communities (websites or blogs)
4. Buyers in the community can click on the affiliate link to jump to the corresponding Listing
5. If the seller's listing has a transaction due to this click (not only limited to placing an order on the listing, anyway, after entering through the affiliate link, as long as there is a transaction, it will be counted as his until exiting the Amazon website/APP), then the affiliate link's Amazon Associates members will get the corresponding commission
Amazon's affiliate marketing plan not only provides a convenient profit channel for / website, but also improves the visibility, traffic and sales of Amazon sellers' products.
#02 Commission Distribution Mechanism
Sellers do not pay commissions to Amazon Associates members (/sites).
When a buyer clicks on the affiliate link, he will be taken to Amazon's Listing page, and then saved by a cookie for 24 hours. This means that if an affiliate link visitor enters your listing and does not immediately buy your product, but he returns to place an order within 24 hours, Amazon will still give/site commission.
#03 Benefits for sellers
Amazon Associates falls under Referral Marketing (Incremental Marketing). When/sites post about your product, they will tell fans that the product is trustworthy and introduce it. This can go a long way in boosting your sales, quickly boosting a ranking on your site, or dealing with slow-moving products in your warehouse.
Amazon Affiliates must be applied for, reviewed, and approved by Amazon Associates.
After approval, they can earn commissions by recommending Amazon's products to their fans. The existence of the commission mechanism will motivate them to promote your products on major social media.
#04 Choice of collaborators
Of course, /site won't help you recommend a listing for no reason, unless you set up a super-fractured social media promo code
Paid promotion – commonly known as Amazon's off-site promotion
Common product promotions are Facebook groups / Deals websites, and brand promotions even involve Youtube / TIKTOK / Instagram, etc.
