Yesterday, Amazon opened the world shop, the official account of the public, and the official announcement: Amazon, USA, now more goods can be created to enter the warehouse. Just when the seller cheered, Amazon poured a basin of cold water again!
Muddled! Sellers generally reflect that those who have been able to replenish before can’t replenish now. Creating goods always prompts “limited replenishment”! It is said that more goods can be created, but in fact, they are limited to enter the warehouse in disguise. The brother-in-law’s operation shows that the seller is choking. Can this business be done?!
A few days ago, the small editor of meiou.com kept hearing the news that “Amazon’s non necessities are about to be ‘unsealed’, and the seller can make up the goods immediately”. So when Amazon’s announcement came out yesterday, Xiaobian also felt that the seller’s friends had finally kept the cloud open to see Yueming and could resume normal delivery immediately, but when the seller actually operated, he found that things were not so simple.
Amazon announced that from April 18, 2020, more products will be eligible for replenishment.
However, the sentence “although we have increased the number of products that can be sent to the operation center, we will limit the quantity of replenishment of some of them” makes the seller have two different results when replenishing:
It’s true that some sellers have successfully created goods to replenish, but most of them are unable to create replenishment orders or fail to create them!
Many sellers reported that they just wanted to create a shipment, but found that the products they had been able to send before now show “limited replenishment”.
It seems that Amazon’s “good news” that more products can create goods to be warehoused is distorted, which makes many products that can be delivered normally without quantity restriction before, and now they are killed by quantity. Is this not a disguised restriction on warehousing?!
Some sellers said that the original air transport was too expensive to afford, and they wanted to make enough weight for shipping. As a result, once the number of shipments was limited, they could not make enough weight at all. Now they have no choice but to do so!
It is true that there is no solution to the problem of policy. The seller can only optimize the replenishment and logistics plan as soon as possible.
1. How can sellers know the quantity limit of limited replenishment products?
According to meiou.com, there are two ways for sellers to find the limited quantity limit of replenishment products:
Replenishment stock page: in the “supply days” column, click the cell directly above the color column. In the pop-up window, the quantity corresponding to the end of the green area on the color bar represents the maximum inventory level. To calculate how much inventory you can send, subtract Amazon’s total inventory from the maximum inventory. Ensure all quantities to be shipped and disassembled are included.
Replenishment inventory report: click the download Report button at the top right of the replenishment inventory page. In the report, use the current month – maximum inventory threshold column to view the current maximum inventory threshold. To calculate how much inventory you can send, subtract the total inventory from the maximum inventory threshold for the current month. Ensure all quantities to be shipped and disassembled are included.
2. How does Amazon calculate the number of products that sellers can ship?
It is reported that Amazon will consider the historical sales volume, current inventory level and the available storage space of Amazon’s operation center when calculating the delivery quantity of products. Some sellers said: “it’s true that we can only sell products in the last month”!
As for new products or products without sales volume in the near future, you can also create goods, but there will be a quantity limit. According to meiou.com, sellers generally reflect that new products can create up to 50 shipments.
