The net profit after tax in the first quarter was NT$101.359 billion, and it reached NT$102.293 billion in the second quarter. The quarterly net profit after tax of sea freight reached NT$100.698 billion (approximately RMB 22.600 billion), an increase of 26% year-on-year, the third highest in a single quarter in history. The cumulative net profit after tax in the first three quarters was NT$304.35 billion (approximately RMB 68.306 billion), an annual increase of 92.28%.

2. AliExpress spends $7 million to enter the South Korean market

7. Boeing will convert two Alaska Airlines planes into cargo

On November 16th, Alaska Air Cargo announced that Boeing will refit two Boeing 737-800 aircraft in Alaska Airlines' existing passenger fleet. 8. FedEx launches new gateway in Incheon, South Korea

The FedEx Gateway covers an area of ​​23,395 square meters, more than twice the size of the previous facility, equipped with 78 conveyor belts and an advanced automatic sorting system that can sort 12,000 packages per hour, twice the previous sorting capacity. It also includes a 15,207-square-meter warehouse that can store up to 40,000 parcels.

The new facility has 31 weekly flights, connecting Korea to more than 220 countries and regions through the FedEx global network.

9. The volume of sea-rail combined transport containers in Ningbo Zhoushan Port increased by 25%

On November 16th, according to the public data on the website of Zhejiang Provincial Port and Shipping Management Center, from January to October this year, Ningbo Zhoushan Port completed a cargo throughput of 1,061.992 million tons, a year-on- year increase of 3.3%; completed container throughput of 28.895 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase. 8.1%; the volume of sea-rail combined transport containers increased by 25% year-on-year.

As of the end of October, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has added 14 new container routes this year, bringing the total number of routes to 301, including 146 ocean routes. The number of sea-rail combined transport trains has increased to 22, covering 16 provinces and cities (autonomous regions) and 63 prefecture-level cities, providing a strong logistics guarantee for serving the development of domestic and foreign trade enterprises.
