In addition to the business opportunity detector function, in the backstage of Amazon, there is an entrance for product selection recommendation – the product guide for entry sellers , the location may be too hidden, and many seller friends may not know the existence of this product selection tool.
Log in to the Amazon Merchant Backstage, and you can find the [Add New Product] column on the homepage.
After clicking [Add New Product] , enter the next page, you can see that there are two major sections: [New Product] and [Advanced Research] .

1. [New Products] Section
The function of the [New Products] section is to provide high-demand ASIN selection recommendations based on the categories sold by sellers, helping sellers to expand more high-demand products under the existing sales categories.
Enter the product name, brand name, and ASIN in the search box and select the site to filter out Amazon's customized high-demand product recommendations for sellers.
After the system filters out, we can check the products we are interested in and click "Download Product List" .
In the screened results, we can see that one item is "opportunity score" , the chance score is between 750 and 1000 points, the higher the score, the greater the chance.
2. [Advanced Research] Section
We can filter by selling site, product category, commodity type, commodity type keyword , or directly search for keywords through the search box.
Through this section, you can understand the performance and function requirements and competition of different products, which can help sellers develop new category opportunities.
1. Product performance
In this section, we can view data such as product return rate, search-to-buy ratio, user rating, number of sellers, number of Asin, and average number of offers per Asin. Ability to view data changes in the past 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months.
2. Product feature trends
In this part, we look at the data analysis chart of the product's price, color, material, and features .
You can add your favorite features while browsing, and finally click "Download Favorite Feature" to get the table data.
These data are indeed of great help to our refined operations sellers, and combined with some other tools, the effect will be better.
