Amazon US Business Liability Insurance No Deductible Required (Cancelled)
Amazon's US business liability insurance requirements have been updated again. This update is to directly cancel the need to purchase insurance without deductibles.
The latest announcement from the Amazon Seller Forum shows that due to feedback from some sellers that they are facing challenges in purchasing zero-deductible policies, Amazon will continue to allow sellers to purchase policies with deductibles, but the deductibles of any policy cannot be More than $10,000 and any deductible must be listed on the certificate of insurance.

Almost all U.S. sellers have shown buyers a new and updated return and refund policy, but with this update, sellers will not be able to set custom returns and refunds in your information and policies.

U.S. station updates adult product shelf policy
The announcement shows that from July 26, 2022, Amazon strictly prohibits any pornographic images that are explicit or appear on the product detail page, and remind sellers to check the Listing and replace any pornographic images within 60 days. If no action is taken by September 26, 2022, listings with sexually explicit images will be banned or restricted from showing in search.

Japan station issues new regulations for vehicle products
From August 22, 2022, the Japanese station will revise the regulations on the product details page of the vehicle. The seller must clearly write whether the product is allowed to be driven on the road and whether the necessary safety information is marked. Product detail pages that do not comply with the following regulations will be deleted and will be considered prohibited items. The specific content of this revision is:
1. Electric bicycles or electric vehicles (electric skirting boards and electric bicycles with pedals) that do not meet the following requirements will be prohibited from sale:
Failure to comply with Japanese safety standards and other applicable laws and regulations;
The following information must be clearly stated on the product detail page:
① Rated output (Example: Rated output: 0.6kW)
② Displacement (Example: Displacement: 50cc)
③ Maximum speed (e.g. maximum speed: 25 km/h)
④ "Can drive on public roads" or "Cannot drive on public roads"
2. Depending on whether the product can be driven on the road, the following precautions must be displayed on the product details page:
Electric bicycles or electric vehicles that can be driven on public roads, while complying with Japanese laws, also need to:
① Permits are provided according to the vehicle category;
② Remind buyers to wear helmets when driving;
③ A registration number and liability insurance are required;
④ Must be equipped with safety components that meet safety standards, such as brakes, headlights and rearview mirrors;
⑤ Remind buyers to obey traffic rules.
If the electric bicycle or electric vehicle cannot be driven on public roads, please note to the buyer: Japanese law stipulates that this product cannot be driven on public roads. Additionally, Amazon may display the same at its sole discretion.
