1. What is Amazon CPC certification?
The Children's Product Certificate is referred to as CPC (Children's Product Certificate, CPC). The issuing agency of CPC is specially responsible for testing the safety of children's products. All children's toys and children's products sold on Amazon's US site must provide a children's product certificate.
CPC certification is applicable to all products that are mainly used by children aged 12 and below, such as toys, cradles, children's clothing, etc. If produced locally in the United States, the manufacturer is responsible for providing it, and if produced in other countries, the importer is responsible for supply. That is to say, cross-border sellers, as "importers", want to sell products produced by Chinese factories to the United States, they need to provide a CPC certificate to Amazon as a retailer/merchant.
2. Information to be included in the CPC certificate:
① Product information (name and description);
②All laws and regulations applicable to the product;
③ Manufacturer information: including name, address and telephone;
④Product production date and address, the production date must be in the year and month, and the address must be in the city;
⑤Testing time and address ⑥Information of third-party testing agency (CPSC-approved laboratory): name, address, contact number;
3. Information to be included in the CPC certificate required by the normal export of children's products to the United States
① Product information (name and description);
②All laws and regulations applicable to the product;
③ Information of the importer or manufacturer (in the United States): including name, address and telephone number;
④Contact information of the holder of the test result file supporting the certificate: name, address, email address and telephone number;
⑤Product production date and address, the production date must be in the year and month, and the address must be in the city;
⑥ Test time and address or test report on which the certificate is based;
⑦Information of third-party testing organization (laboratory accredited by CPSC): name, address, contact number
4. Who needs to issue a CPC certificate
The manufacturer or importer is responsible for drafting and issuing the CPC. Manufacturers or importers can draft their own CPC based on the pass test results of third-party testing, without payment.
Importers must issue CPCs for products produced overseas, while U.S. manufacturers must issue CPCs for domestically produced products. See 16 CFR Part 1110.
Manufacturers or importers of children's products that comply with the Children's Product Safety Rules or other standards are always legally responsible for issuing a CPC, even if a third party testing laboratory or another third party provides assistance in drafting the CPC

2. American toy standard ASTMF963;
3. Electric toys safety standard 16 CFR Part 1505;
4 Rattle toys require 16 CFR Part 1510;
5 Pacifier Safety Standard 16 CFR Part 1511;
6 Children's clothing, carpet combustion performance, such as 16 CFR Part 1610;
7 Children's products: baby carriages, cribs, fences, harnesses, safety seats, bicycle helmets and other product standards
