1. What is ERP certification

ERP is the abbreviation of Energy-Related Products. That is, energy-related products are any products that have been placed on the market and/or have been delivered for use, and their use will affect energy consumption, including those components of energy-related products covered by the erp directive. Components shall be able to independently assess the environmental impact.

2. Which items are tested for ERP energy efficiency certification:

1. The time required to reach 95% of the luminous flux is less than 2 seconds;

2. The early failure rate is less than or equal to 5.0% (1000 hours of normal lighting)

3. The color tolerance is less than or equal to 6db;

4. The color rendering index is greater than or equal to 80%, and the color rendering index for outdoor or industrial purposes is greater than or equal to 65%;

5. The damage rate of 6000 hours is greater than or equal to 0.9, (because the test time is long, this requirement will be implemented from March 1, 2014);

6. The luminous flux maintenance rate of 6000 hours is greater than or equal to 0.8 (because the test time is long, this requirement will be implemented from March 1, 2014);

7. The startup time is less than 0.5 seconds;

8. The number of switches before failure is greater than or equal to 15,000 times (rated life is 30,000 hours) or greater than or equal to half of the rated life in hours;

9. Power factor requirements: power less than or equal to 2W, no power factor requirements; 2W to 5W, PF value greater than 0.4; 5W to 25W, PF value greater than 0.5; power greater than 25W, PF value greater than 0.9
