1. CPC certification – children's product certificate

All children's products and children's toys sold on Amazon's US site must provide a children's product certificate.

CPC certification is applicable to all products that are mainly targeted for children aged 12 and under, such as toys, cradles, children's clothing, etc. If produced locally in the United States, the manufacturer is responsible for providing, and if produced in other countries, the importer is responsible for providing . That is to say, cross-border sellers, as importers, want to sell products produced by Chinese factories to the United States, they need to provide a CPC certificate to Amazon as a retailer/distributor.

2. EN71

EN71 is the normative standard for toy products in the EU market. Its significance is to carry out technical specifications for toy products entering the European market through the EN71 standard, so as to reduce or avoid the harm of toys to children.

3. FCC certification

Ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property. The following products exported to the United States require FCC certification: radio-controlled toys, computers and computer accessories, lamps (LED lamps, LED screens, stage lights, etc.), audio products (radio, TV, home audio, etc.), Bluetooth, wireless switches, etc. , security products (alarms, access control, monitors, cameras, etc.)

4. ASTMF963

In general, the first three parts of ASTMF963 are tested, including physical and mechanical properties test, flammability test, and eight toxic heavy metal tests-elements: lead (Pb) arsenic (As) antimony (Sb) barium (Ba) cadmium (Cd) ) chromium (Cr) mercury (Hg) selenium (Se), toys that use paint are tested.

5. CPSIA (HR4040) lead content test and phthalate test

Regulates requirements for products containing lead or children's products with lead paint, and prohibits the sale of certain products containing phthalates.Test items: rubber/pacifier, children's bed with railing, children's metal accessories, baby inflatable trampoline, baby walker, skipping rope

6. Warning

For some small products such as small balls and marbles, Amazon sellers must print a warning on the product packaging, choking hazard – small objects. It is not suitable for children under 3 years old, and it should be stated on the package, otherwise, once there is a problem, the seller will have to sue.

3. UL certification

It is a non-mandatory certification in the United States, mainly testing and certification of product safety performance, and its certification scope does not include the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) characteristics of the product. Certification marks: "us" in the lower right means it is suitable for the United States, "c" in the lower left means it is suitable for Canada, and it is suitable for both countries.

4. GS certification

Based on the German Product Safety Law (GPGS), it is a voluntary certification that is tested in accordance with the European Union's unified standard EN or the German industrial standard DIN. It is a German safety certification mark recognized in the European market. The applicable standard of GS certification is the corresponding EN safety standard of the European Union. GS certification is more stringent than the low-voltage safety certification (LVD certification) of CE certification. It has factory inspection and annual inspection, while CE-LVD does not need it.

5. ROHS detection

It is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation, mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electrical and electronic products, making it more conducive to human health and environmental protection.
