1、 What are the general and hard requirements for Category Approval

1. Account sales plan must be a professional seller

2. ODR (order defect rate) Order defect rate < 1%

3. Pre fulfillment cancel rate < 2.5%

4. Late shipment rate < 4%

5. Provide invoices, receipts, test certificates, etc. as required by Amazon during Approval.

In addition, there are specific requirements related to different product categories.

2、 Requirements for Category Approval related data

1. Authorized normal UPC code (UPC code has been introduced in detail in the previous article)

2. Receipt, invoice and packing list: must be valid documents within 90 days (different effective dates of specific categories); include the address and contact information of the supplier

3. Relevant certificates: electronic CE certificate; cosmetics, skin care FDA certificate, jewelry nickel content certificate

4. Enterprise website: it must be an enterprise website with primary domain name

Note: there are some special categories that need to be sent to Amazon for testing. For example, the Category Approval of the fine jewelry category requires a processing fee of $500, which will not be returned (whether your Category Approval is successful or not). In addition, they need to send the products they need to their testing department for testing
